Dora Leder, illustrator, Western Publishing Company, 1974It turns out that I have a ton of Mother Goose books. Here's one from my Little Golden Books collection I completely forgot about. The verses in the book are the traditional ones rather than an urban version suggested by the title. I guess the "in the city" aspect is portrayed in the illustrations. Here are some of my favorites.
