Tasha Tudor is a celebrated illustrator who lived from 1915-2008. Much of her work has an old world feel. The focus of this collection is more about the prayers, some of which I must have really liked as evidenced by the little gold stars pasted in the corners of several pages. I remember my mom having us memorize prayers and psalms as a child. When I look at these pages I realize at one time or another I knew these by heart.
